Preloved By Lilly Grace Chen was established in 2022. Its started off as a hobby selling garments and accessories from my wardrobe that no longer fit or was worn.
After successfully clearing a bit of room in the wardrobe I found myself in the charity shops and fleas markets once again. Shopping in these places was new to me but I soon realised that it was a great place to get a fashion fix on a much lower budget. There was unique prints, vintage garments, and an array of wonderful and amazing things available at my finger tips. All this and being able to shop in a more sustainable fashion was a win win in my eyes.
Towards the end of 2022 something out of the blue happened that took me by surprise and I was to start to take this whole thing a little more seriously. Having used Depop for a few months I got featured as a 'Ones To Watch' shop in September. Following that one of my products got featured on the Depop explore page. This was super exciting that I could share my finds with the world.
Preloved By Lilly Grace Chen has been growing from strength to strength since the first few months. A website has been launched, we celebrated 2K followers on Depop, many items being featured on Poshmark's party cover shot, and a tiktok account being launched. We also celebrated many firsts too, including receiving our first website order, the first wholesale stock buy, the first international sale and attending first learning webinar to name just a few.
